Jeffrey Dahmer, Albert DeSalvo (the Boston Strangler), Ted Bundy and David Berkowitz (the “Son of Sam”) had many things in common; but, the most troubling was the fact that each one of them admitted to the mutilation, torturing and the killing of animals in their youth. Studies conducted have shown that victims of child abuse and domestic violence have had some exposure to animal abuse.
