Cyber Crooks: Cryptocurrency, Money Laundering, and the Dark Web (June 24, 2020)

This 8-hour course provides the student with the tools to help understand and identify the digital aged crimes and use of cryptocurrency to facilitate their illegal activity. This course will also give the student an understanding of the principals of money laundering, usage of gift cards for currency, bitcoins, and tour tor browsers and the dark web where unethical and illegal activities occur.

Course includes training on:

Identifying methods of non-traditional financial transactions
Usage and tracking of the dark web
Trends of cryptocurrency
The function of VPNs and Tor browsers
Principals of money laundering

Student Cancellation Policy: Student cancellations confirmed more than five (5) business days prior to the start of the class will not be charged for the course. If the course has already been paid for, it will be refunded. For all cancellations received five (5) or less business days before the start of the class will be charged at full price. This late cancellation charge compensates Law Enforcement Training Solutions for the non-refundable costs incurred prior to the start date of the course.

Student No Shows: If a student does not show for the first day of class, there will be a full charge for the course.
