Meet Ed

Edwin Olavi began his law enforcement career in 1996.  Since that time he has held positions in patrol, investigations, intelligence, and counter terrorism.  He holds an advanced certificate from California Peace Officers Standards and Training.  Edwin has received extensive training in advanced investigative techniques, interview & interrogation, surveillance & counter surveillance, undercover operations, terrorism, dignitary protection, and threat assessment from local, State, and Federal agencies.

Since 2003, Edwin has been conducting Threat Assessments & Investigations in the Southern California Area.  He has been involved in the assessment and management of numerous threats and inappropriate contacts toward dignitaries, their staff, and families.  Edwin has provided threat assessment training to local, State, and Federal law enforcement officials since 2005, and most recently graduated from Gavin De Becker & Associates’ Advanced Threat Assessment Academy.  Edwin is still an active practitioner in the fields of threat assessment and protection.
