This course provides the student with the tools to learn, refine, and update their knowledge of marijuana; from the laws, paraphernalia, to the signs and symptoms of being under the influence of the drug.  This is a topic that is receiving a lot of attention since it is now legal at the State level, but illegal at the federal level.  By knowing what the more common forms of marijuana and the equipment that are used to inhale or ingest the drug, the officers and agents of probation, parole, and corrections can better prepare themselves to recognize the signs and symptom of influence to the paraphernalia that may be seen in the field setting.

• Local, State, and Federal laws
• Collection and packaging for prosecution
• Medicinal uses of medical marijuana
